Baked Apple | Healthy Gluten Free, Dairy Free Dessert
Okay… maybe this isn’t quite the Terry’s chocolate orange (or apple) you were hoping for. But this simple recipe is not just healthy, it’s delicious. And it’s perfect as an afternoon snack and/or dessert (yes, it really is that good).
The texture has the perfect mix of a crunchy outer side and gooey inside. No need to add anything but the ingredients in the recipe below, unless you want to of course.
(Pssss… I’ll let you into a little secret – this recipe goes insanely well with ice-cream, co-yo or double cream).
- 3 apples per person (I love organic Pink Ladies)
- cinnamon powder
- agave syrup optional
Preheat the oven to 180°
Simply cut the apples into segments (similar to those of Terry's Chocolate Orange)
Lightly sprinkle with cinnamon
Bake for approx. 25 minutes
Rest for 5 minutes
