Stay hydrated while travelling
Depending where in the world you’re travelling to, you may or may not be subjecting your body to a little more heat and humidity than it’s used to. Either way, it’s important to stay hydrated while travelling. Now I don’t know about you, but I find that water doesn’t always hit the spot and I’m left feeling as thirsty as ever.
How to stay hydrated while travelling?
Whenever I’m feeling dehydrated the only thing that truly quenches my thirst is a large glass of fresh coconut water. I can’t get enough. Coconut water is definitely an acquired taste. But like everything in life, it doesn’t take long for your tastebuds to adjust. I remember when I was younger, I couldn’t stand the taste of pepper on my food. It genuinely set my mouth on fire. Sounds ridiculous, I know. Now my palate is on the other end of the spectrum and I absolutely adore anything and everything spicy.
Anyway, back to coconut water. Not only does it hydrate you, but it’s also enriched with essential electrolytes which make it an exceptionally healthy, all-natural drink (and a great hangover cure too!). But try to make sure you get it in its natural form, i.e. the actual coconut. Find a product that’s 100% coconut water, with no nasty added ingredients or flavours, if that’s not available to you.
