Whether you're in need of an extra hit of (tasty-chocolately) protein. Or wanting to live a healthier lifestyle. Then these raw, gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free chocolate protein balls are the perfect clean eating treats for you. Not only are they healthy, they're the perfect post-workout snack. And so quick and easy to make.

Ingredients
  • 10 pitted dates
  • 5 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 5 tbsp ground almonds
  • 3 tbsp flax seeds
  • 3 tbsp maca powder
  • 3 tbsp protein powder gluten free, organic
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 5 tbsp almond milk organic
Instructions
  1. Finely chop dates and add to blender

  2. Add all the other ingredients and blend for 20-30 seconds

  3. Once sufficiently mixed, add a little almond milk (aim for a consistency that's not too sticky/wet)

  4. Roll into small balls and place on either aluminium foil or baking paper

  5. Freeze for 15 minutes then store in fridge for up to one week
